For a time there was a sparkle in her eyes,
There was nothing else that I wanted otherwise,
A the years moved past,
And everything was a joy with her,
Time moved so fast,
And I found a best friend in her,
Someone who I can spend the rest of my life with is what I found,
To my surprise I tore it all down,
On that train ride home from our second date,
I opened my mouth with fury and an explosion of words ripped through our souls,
I was out of control,
I was out of line,
But the damage was I didn't win,
I'd have have to face the consequences of what I've done,
Two people with sparkles in their eyes,
Turned sour never to be the same,
I sat in my car crying as I saw her tail lights pull out of the parking lot,
I broke down,
And cryer for mercy,
But there was none to be found,
An apology the next day I gave,
For my behavior the night before,
Apology unaccepted,
No forgiveness is what I found,
That was that last time I spoke to her,
Devastated by what I've done,
By the end of the week I wanted life no more,
I took a bottle of pills and prayed for it to all be over,
Suicide was the option I chose to end all the pain,
But I woke up the next day as life continued on,
But my sweetheart was no more,
She move a thousand miles away,
She got married, had a family,
While I'm still here picking up the pieces of this broken heart.
Sometimes it's easy to forget,
Sometimes I'm filled with remorse and regret,
She still has that sparkle in her eyes,
Just mine have faded, and all I can do is cry.

Love is Love
Time will have its way
One day your fine
The next not so
But love is the cure
It can mend it can heal
There is relief just in the room next door
Love is love
Where you find it you never know
In the arms of a gentle kiss
Love is love
You could be a wreck'
The world could be crashing downOne thing after another
Suddenly you feel like you'll drown
But with a gentle whisper
A simple gaze into another's eyes
Everything will flip upside down
And you'll wake up fine
Love is love
Where you find it you never know
In the arms of a gentle kiss
Love is love
You'll fight through the madness
You'll pull for the underdog
Love concours all
And that's a fact
Love is love
Where you find it you'll never know
In the arms of a gentle kiss
Love is love
Love is love
Where you find it you'll never know
In the arms of a gentle kiss

Where does my path lead???
As I sit in front of the piano reflecting, and just pondering, I gently pull notes out of thin air.
Trying to recall where my fingers should fall to phrase a simple melody, and sustain it as a commonality throughout.
This being a lot harder than said.
I always was use to just playing whatever wherever my fingers would fall that sounded melodically pleasing.
I never had a structured way of playing, I would just play.
As the two hours pasted I slowly began to remember how to harmonically and melodically sync the two.
But how could I apply that to one of the songs I have written.
I just played the chords and quietly began hesitantly singing the words and humming the vocal melody.
It slowly progressed and as the time passed I became more comfortable singing my song.
"I like this'"I was thinking," and with all the keys layed out in front of me I began to experiment with the melody.
And for some odd reason, my voice was more comfortable and relaxed.
I wasn't straining and forcing the lyrics, it began to feel natural, soothing, steady..
I wasn't exactly sure of all the words but I substituted the unknown word with a simple humming of the melody.
I'm glad I was recording most of the time, now I can go back and listen to what I constructed.
I was starting to remember how to play the piano again!!!
It has been many years since I opened the cover to the keys, it just sat dormant for years upon years, I can actually say it has been over 10 years since I last sat at the piano and played.
It was a place of refuge.
Only now I had a purpose and a path to walk down.
Not only was the piano a writing tool, it was an experimenting tool, to refine the basic melody I sang to the guitar.
"I could get use to this," I though to myself.
But one thing loomed overhead, had I discovered this rekindled enjoyment of the piano to lat?
It pulled me out of my somber mood, it slowly started to feel natural again, but... am I to late?
Did I lose that opportunity to apply what I rediscovered to my arsenal.
I was learning how to construct a song, first came the lyrics or poems and rhymically phrase it, then make up a chord progression on the guitar that felt fresh, lay down the lyrics to a melody within the chord progression.
Figure out a tempo and sync the roughly written song to a settempo.
Now with the piano I can spice it up a hair.
I am beginning to finally structure definitive songs.
I had had a formula I could work with and it all flowed together naturally.
I was applying all of my strengths together to solidify solidly based songs.
But am I to late to the party, is my opportunity done....

Wind Swept shores crash upon the the beach
Wind swept tides crash upon the beach.
As I reflect upon the past and future, the past is a glazed look through an hour glass emptied by time.
Whereas I look into the future with bright expectations, of what God has in store for me.
Unknown and yet still unseen but anticipated.
What turns in the future lie ahead lie ahead, on my journey into the unknown?
With one hand on the wheel, and the other in faiths hand.
I find it sometimes difficult to distinguish my decisions verses God's decisions.
I just push forward knowing that it's all planned out for me.
I just have to keep trusting and keep moving forward into the future.
One foot on solid ground and yet the other is in thin air trusting in faith that it will land on solid ground...

She Brought Me out Of The Fire
She brought me out of the fire
She gives me hope & loveGod brought me to my knees
God doesn't overlook any simple things
Another dream shattered
Another dream broken
Another dream shattered
Another dream unspoken
When will it stop
When will it end
When will it mend
When will it stop
Time plays tricks
Times they sometimes stick
Time keeps changing
Time keeps rearranging.
Stuff lies dormant
Things scattered astray
Love lies broken
Love dies unspoken
Dismiss your intentions
Stay away from inventions
In your mind they stay
In your mind they play
With injured bones
And a shattered stone
All it does is rip
And all it does is make you lose your grip
Reality lies dormant
Say what you may
Realities doorman
Comes but does not stay.
Blistering in the cold
Howling in the wind
Unshown it stands
Unknown it fans
The flames.

With a Whisper & a Prayer
With a whisper and a prayer
I'll wakeup and I'll see you there
They'll be a someday when you will care
I'll finely see that look in another's stare
There will be a touch to remember
There will be a smile that's unforgettable
There will be a crisp September
There will be a step that is undeniable.
I won't be unfaithful
I won't be untrue
I will always be there
And I'll never stop loving you.
Your in my dreams
And in my future
Time will cease to exist
And There won't be any seems
There will be just you and I
Takin on this big ole world
Just me as your guy
And you as my girl
Blenden it all up into one big swirl.
I'll wakeup and I'll see you there
They'll be a someday when you will care
I'll finely see that look in another's stare
There will be a touch to remember
There will be a smile that's unforgettable
